The Bachelor Or The Football Star? Dancing Eliminates Another Male Competitor

After weeks of trying to keep up with the competition, one contestant finally saw his dreams of mirrorball glory fade away into the sunset.

(SPOILER ALERT: This article contains the results of Tuesday’s “Dancing” elimination show.)

He played a runway groom in his dance with pro partner Peta Murgatroyd on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” but on Tuesday, it was the semi-finals that ran away from former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe, as he was eliminated.

“I have enjoyed every second of it,” Sean said of the experience. “I truly am blessed to have taken part in this, with all these stars, I’m still just a normal guy from Dallas. What an incredible opportunity.”

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff were left until the end of the night to find out their fate (they were, of course, safe), but the show hosts revealed the group they were put in was “not necessarily” the Bottom 2.

Beyond the elimination news, the pairs found out which dances had been chosen for them to perform on next week’s show.

Through the fans’ Tweets, it was decided that Zendaya and Valentin Chmerkovskiy will perform hip-hop, Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough will tackle Flamenco, Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson will do the Charleston, Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas will take on Afro jazz and Jacoby and Karina will do the lindy hop.

“DWTS” continues next Monday night at 8/7c on ABC.
