“The Carrie Diaries,” The CW series, which looks at the life of a teenage Carrie Bradshaw growing up in the 1980s, has been renewed by the network for Season 2.

AnnaSophia Robb, who plays the teenage Carrie shared her enthusiasm on Twitter, writing, “Yay!!! #TheCarrieDiaries got picked up for season 2! Thank you #Carriers for your support,”
There was good news too for The CW’s “Nikita,” which also was renewed for another (shorter) season.
