After less than a year of marriage, The-Dream and wife Christina Milian have separated, according to Us Weekly.
“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward,” the rep told the magazine.
The news comes after several racy beach photos surfaced of The-Dream and his assistant of about a year, Melissa Santiago. The two were seen kissing on a beach in the Caribbean.
The couple’s separation isn’t a surprise, however.
Rumors of the rocky romance and The-Dream’s infidelity began surfacing earlier this year after only a few months of matrimony.
After the news of the couple’s split hit the internet, Christina headed to Twitter writing, “Whatever you think. Believe it.”
The-Dream and Christina eloped in Las Vegas in September 2009 after announcing their engagement in July of that year.
