Smaug is out of the mountain and appears to be mad – fire-breathing mad!
The first trailer for director Peter Jackson’s (most likely) final trip to Middle Earth has arrived online after first debuting last weekend at Comic-Con.
The adventure concludes for Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield and his band of dwarves, Gandalf and elves Tauriel and Legolas.

Ultimate “Lord of the Rings” villain Sauron makes an appearance in the teaser as do armies of orcs, which promises many epic battles, and we’re guessing many tragic deaths, for the final movie.
“The Battle of the Five Armies” hit theaters on December 17.
