‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ Teaser: Katniss’ Heartbreaking Return To District 12

Fans are getting the first glimpse of Katniss Everdeen’s return to District 12 – and it’s heartbreaking.

In a new teaser trailer, Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin warns, “She won’t be able to handle it. The games destroyed her,” but fans of the books know to never underestimate Katniss.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss returns to her home of District 12 to find a decimated land of ruins and rubble – but one thing still lives.

While in her former house, she finds a vase full of dead roses, minus one vibrant white rose – a clear sign from Katniss’ greatest foe.

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” hits theaters on November on 21. The second installment debuts November 2015.
