The Saga Of Tara Reid’s Boobs

Tara Reid’s breasts — we hardly knew thee.

Actually, in your short time implanted into the actress’ chest, we probably knew you a little more than we should have – or wanted to.

As if a botched boob job wasn’t bad enough, poor Tara unknowingly exposed the doctor’s un-handy work to the world back in 2004 on the red carpet for Diddy’s 35th birthday bash in NYC.

The notorious “malfunction” quickly turned into a paparazzi feeding frenzy.

“I didn’t see [my dress] fall down,” Tara told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush after the incident. “So I’m smiling like an idiot, not even knowing that it’s there.”

While she may not have felt her dress strap fall down, she has certainly felt the humiliation that followed.

“I couldn’t believe it. It was so embarrassing,” she added.

Not only was her breast exposed for all to see, but also a very noticeable scar from the surgery.

And while you can’t undo history, Tara is trying to do the next best thing by going back to the doc for additional surgery to repair the original botched job, according to Us Weekly.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Tara told the magazine she had surgery in early September to reduce the scarring on her breasts and to even out her stomach after the original surgery in 2004.

?I got my breasts done for the first time because my breasts were uneven. I was a 34-B, but the right one was always bigger than the left. I weigh 110 pounds now, but I always used to fluctuate by 10 pounds, so my skin was kind of saggy. I figured, I?m in Hollywood, I?m getting older, I?m going to fix them,” Tara told the magazine.

She went on to explain that having the paparazzi see the goods was the least of her worries. A notorious party girl, Tara said the botched boobs also made things difficult in her personal life.

?Guys I was dating would be like, ?What?s wrong with them? They look really bad. You know, you should really get them fixed.? So embarrassing, I mean, you definitely had to turn off the lights. And then there was my stomach,” she told Us Weekly.

When she went in for the original surgery, the already tiny Tara also had liposuction on her stomach at the same time because she wanted ?a six pack.?

“I got lipo because even though I was skinny, I wanted – I?m not going to lie – a six-pack. I had body contouring, but it all went wrong. My stomach became the most ripply, bulgy thing.?

And while she has had the surgery to correct the problems, that doesn’t necessarily insure that everything will be nipped and tucked the way it’s supposed to be.

“Revision breast surgery is significantly more difficult than the original surgery and requires a surgeon with great experience in that area,” says Dr. Ellenbogen who describes himself as “somewhat of a fix-it shop for dissatisfied breast patients from all over the world.”

Whether or not the recent surgery corrected the case of the botched boob remains to be seen. But keep your eyes peeled – you never know when the next “malfunction” is headed down the red carpet.
