The Voice Eliminee Holly Tucker: ‘I Had A Little Inkling’ I Was About To Get Kicked Off

Holly Tucker became the latest contestant eliminated on “The Voice” on Tuesday night and the country hopeful says she had a feeling she was going to get the boot.

“I think that everybody’s always nervous going into it, but yeah, I had a little inkling that I thought I might [get cut],” Holly told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman on Tuesday following the show.

The 19-year-old singer, who was a member of Team Blake, became emotional when asked about her mentor.

“He’s a sweetheart,” she said, adding that Blake consoled her after the show. “He really just kinda, it didn’t need a lot of words, you know? He just hugged me and it was good.”

As for her music future, Holly plans to head to Music City, U.S.A.

“I still wanna you continue in music and hopefully I’ll be able to go to Nashville this summer and do a few meetings,” she said. “I’ll probably see if I can continue my education as well.”

Adding, “I got lots of plans that aren’t sorted out yet. I’m still trying to figure it out. So we’ll see what happens.”

“The Voice” continues with semi-finals on Monday at 8/7c on NBC.
