The Wanted: Nathan Sykes Returns To Stage Following Vocal Surgery

Nathan Sykes made a triumphant return to the stage on Sunday.

“The Wanted” singer, 20, performed with the British boy band at the Summertime Ball Festival in London for the first time since being sidelined by a vocal surgery in April.

“Thanks for all the love today. Really put a smile on my face …” Nathan Tweeted on Sunday. “I’m back.”

Bandmate Max George was happy to share the stage with Nathan once again.

“#NathanIsBack love you mate! Welcome back,” Max Tweeted on Sunday.

Scoter Braun, the group’s manager, also Tweeted his excitement over Nathan’s return.

“That was incredible!!! @NathanTheWanted I’m very proud of u,” Scooter — who also manages Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Psy — wrote on Sunday. “U worked hard and that was an amazing surprise and ridiculous solo!! Well done!”

Adding, “Nathan is back!”

Last week, The Wanted (minus Nathan) appeared on Access Hollywood Live, where Max explained why Nathan underwent surgery.

“He had a nodule on one of his vocal cords, which is quite a serious thing for a singer,” Max told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover at the time. “It’s what Adele had – but she’s doing all right.”
