“The X Factor’s” Season 3 auditions are in full swing and on Tuesday, Fox released the first photo of the new judges, seated at the panel alongside Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato.
Newcomers to the bench — Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio — sat down to judge contestants in Charleston, SC.
Simon opened the auditions by boasting about himself.
“Is it a coincidence that when I arrive everything gets better?” he said, according to “The X Factor’s” Twitter account.
The panel appeared to be in a playful mood from the start.
According to the show’s Twitter account, Kelly, who judged “The X Factor UK” before, teased Simon by jumping into his chair before things kicked off. She moved to her own seat, one spot over, when the contestants began auditioning.

“The X Factor” Season 3 will premiere in the fall on FOX.
