Tiger Woods Apologizes To Daycare Center Parents In Florida

During his public speech last week, Tiger Woods took exception with the public attention placed on his family amid his personal scandal.

And now, the embattled golfer has issued an apology to fellow parents at his daughter’s private daycare center due to any extra attention the facility and its students have received in the wake of his Thanksgiving night crash and subsequent admitted “infidelity.”

Here is the text from the letter (obtained by WFTV9 in Orlando) sent to parents of children at the Premier Academy in Windermere, Fla., where Tiger and Elin’s daughter, Sam, attends:

“Dear Premier Academy parents,
We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and off our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children. We truly understand how frustrating it can be.

We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future. In the meantime, it is our goal to keep life as normal as possible for our children. We are sure that as parents you can appreciate that. For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she enjoys so much.

Again, we truly appreciate the support from the entire Premier Academy family.

Kind regards,
Elin and Tiger Woods”

As the paparazzi have scrambled for shots of Tiger, Elin and their children, often times photographers have been spotted staked out near the daycare center, according to WFTV9.

Due to the unwanted attention, an off-duty local police officer was reportedly hired to sit outside the center.

During his 13-minute televised speech on February 19, Tiger said his “transgressions” doesn’t mean his wife and young children deserve to be hounded by the media.

“My behavior doesn’t make it right for the media to follow my 2 1/2 year-old-daughter to school & report the school’s location,” he said. “They staked out my wife & they pursued my mom. Whatever my wrongdoings, for the sake of my family… please leave my wife & kids alone.”
