Tim Tebow Shoots Down ‘Crazy’ ‘Bachelor’ Rumors

Sorry, ladies — Tim Tebow will not be heading to ABC to fill the role of “The Bachelor.”

After series host Chris Harrison told Kit Hoover on Monday’s Access Hollywood Live (which he co-hosted) that he has spoken to Tim about possibly becoming the next “Bachelor,” the Denver Broncos quarterback took to Twitter to quell the rumors.

“Haha rumors can be crazy! Even though I’ve watched the show before, I’m definitely not gonna be on the Bachelor,” Tim Tweeted on Tuesday, adding hashtag “#JessePalmer,” referencing the former Giants quarterback’s stint as “The Bachelor” in 2004.

The denial won’t come as a shock to Chris, as the reality host told Kit that despite Tim’s initial warm “Bachelor” reception, he doesn’t believe the 24-year-old athlete will actually be searching for romance on primetime anytime soon.

“They always say yes, but it never happens,” Chris said on Access Hollywood Live on Monday. “He’s a really good guy.”

“Wait, but did he say yes?” Kit pressed.

“He did say yes… but he would never do it,” he continued. “He has a little job called quarterback at least for another year.”
