Timberlake Shares ‘Spider-Man’ Theme Song Ideas

Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield co-star in “The Social Network,” but does the actor/singer have plans for a future entirely different kind of “web” collaboration with the new Spider-Man?

“You’re Spider-Man!?” Justin joked with Andrew when Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts spoke to the duo at “The Social Network” junket over the weekend. “Why didn’t you tell me that? I thought we were, I thought we had something… can you get me in the movie?”

No word if Andrew is planning on trying to nab his co-star a role in the “Spider-Man” reboot, and the young actor might not need to worry – Justin told Access he has music plans for the superhero movie.

“Can I write the theme song for the movie?” Justin jokingly asked. “And have Bono sing it?”

The 29-year-old wasn’t stopping with just his pitch for Bono, who – with U2’s The Edge – penned the music and lyrics for the upcoming Broadway musical, “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.”

“Can I write the theme song for the movie and have Andy Samberg sing it?” he further kidded.

In related news, Justin revealed to Access at the movie’s premiere – also over the weekend – that he’s not super savvy when it comes to his own Facebook skills.

“I have a team of people that [Facebook for me.] I’m involved with it…but they’re there everyday. I’m admittedly really stupid when it comes to computers,” Justin said.

“Seriously, I think as far as I go is like downloading my own music on iTunes, that’s as far as I really go… if I had free time I’d probably be outside playing golf or geeking out another way.”

If you missed the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, be sure to check out Justin in the opening skit, HERE.
