Tina Fey and Sheryl Crow were honored in New York City on Monday at the 2010 Matrix Awards, but only one of them will walk away with a second honor – the winner of “Who Wore It Best.”

Both ladies turned up in Dolce & Gabbana floral dresses at the event – dresses that appeared very similar.
The skirt portion of Tina and Sheryl’s dresses had the same cut and floral pattern. The only difference in the dresses was their top portions. Sheryl wore a sheath dress, while Tina wore a V-neck.
While hitting the stage to receive their awards, given to honor outstanding women in the communications industry, the ladies joked about the coincidence.
“When I walked in, Tina Fey and I were wearing, um…” Sheryl said, as she pointed to Tina who stood up to show the crowd their clothing similarities. “She was quick to say we will end up on the ‘Who Wears It Best’ list.
“I’m voting on Tina, being flat chested as I am, I feel certain she’s gonna be the [winner],” Sheryl laughed.
Tina, however, returned the favor, throwing her support behind Sheryl’s sexy frame.
“We are wearing a very similar dress. So if you want to see what this dress looks like on a ripped, surfer body…” Tina said, pointing to Sheryl as the crowd laughed. “Or, you can wear it with a sweater!”
As for Dolce & Gabbana, they sent out the requisite press release to all media, without acknowledging the awkwardness of the fashion faux pas.
