Tom Takes Manhattan

Some parents take their kids to the zoo. Others take their little ones to a museum. But Tom Cruise always goes just a little bit bigger as Access’ Tim Vincent will attest.

Connor Cruise — Tom’s 11-year-old son with ex-wife Nicole Kidman — is raving about “Mission: Impossible III” at the films’ Harlem premiere.

Tom and Connor arrived in the car of the moment, a Maybach, met the fans and posed together on the red carpet.

The pose, the pinstripes, the shades, Connor’s sky blue sweater, the billion dollar smiles –all added up to some serious star wattage.

Tom’s crazy day began long before he hit the red carpet.

Screaming fans, security and the police must mean Tom had arrived in Times Square to kick off his massive “M:I:III” tour.

Tom arrived at his first stop — MTV’s TRL — in a black SUV.

Tom said goodbye to the thousands of fans who turned up at Times Square to head off down to Tribeca on…a fire truck.

Tom took the fire truck to the helicopter that took him past the Statue of Liberty to his next stop.

“This is unreal. Look at this city. Beautiful,” Tom said.

From the chopper to the bike, Tom was on his way.

Just in time, Tom pulled up on his motorcycle to greet the press and fans that lined the sidewalks at the Tribeca “M:I:III” premiere.

“How’re you doing” Tom asked the fans.

The tireless Tom caught his next ride — a custom Saleen Mustang that he drove to a speedboat that took him up the Hudson River to Harlem and one ultra-luxurious car.

The Maybach.

In Harlem, Tom shook every fan’s hand as he made his way to the stage to join the rest of his cast on the BET show, “106 & Park.”

“I gotta give a shout to Katie, Suri and Bella,” Tom shouted. “My son Connor. I love you all.”

Tom even hopped on the New York subway — the D line to midtown to be exact — for his final stop on the whirlwind day.

“Three down, one to go,” Tom laughed.

“One to go Tom. One to go,” said Laurence Fishburne, Tom’s “Mission” co-star.

Tom Cruise has gone by land, by sea, by air and now…by roofrack.

With no signs of fatigue, Tom arrived at the Ziegfeld, where fans had been lined up for hours.

“Wait. I think someone’s here,” Tom laughed.

The “Mission” man jumped on top of his SUV — Michael Jackson-style — to say hello to everyone.

“How are you feeling?” Tim Vincent asked.

“Adrenalized man,” Tom said. “It was so much fun. I have to tell you, I’ve never done anything like this. It was a blast.”

Tom’s entire cast joined him at the Ziegfeld, as well as Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Diddy and a grinning Robert De Niro.

“Tell me, when do you finally get to see Katie and Suri?” Tim asked.

“Man, when I’m done here, we go in, open the movie, then, I’m on the plane,” Tom said.
