Model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley isn’t always happy with how she feels about her body.
The 24-year-old “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” star – who replaced Megan Fox in the blockbuster franchise – opened up about her less-than-perfect days in Complex magazine’s June/July 2011 issue.
“I don’t feel comfortable in my body today at all,” she told the mag. “Any woman will tell you she has her good and bad days, and today I did not feel like I looked my best or felt radiant inside or outside.”
The former Victoria Secret’s model said she’s already been exposed to the ugly side of Hollywood since landing the role in the Michael Bay-directed movie.
“There are a lot of power trips. There are a lot of exploded egos,” she told the mag. “I’ve had nine years of working before this kind of movie happened to me. I’m really glad I’ve had struggles in my career. When success finally hits you, it helps put things in perspective. We’re so small. You see these kids get success straight away or they grew up with it, and I feel for them ’cause how do they gauge any sense of reality?”
The British star credits her humble beginnings for keeping her grounded today.
“I come from a farm in the middle of nowhere in England. You have to remember where you come from and who you are,” she explained.
The blonde beauty might be best known for working the catwalk and now making summer blockbusters, but Rosie can get down and dirty if called up.
“I’ve shot a few pheasants and a few rabbits,” she told the mag. “I’m probably gonna be hated for that… everything gets eaten on the farm. It’s where food comes from.”
“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” hits theaters on July 1.
