Trent Reznor Blasts Grammys For Cutting His Performance Short

Trent Reznor was not pleased with how the Grammys ended.

“Music’s biggest night… to be disrespected. A heartfelt F*** YOU guys,” he Tweeted after his performance of “Copy of A,” by Nine Inch Nails, was cut short due to time.

Trent was also joined by Josh Homme (from Queens of the Stone Age), Dave Grohl (from Foo Fighters) and Lindsey Buckingham (from Fleetwood Mac) where they also performed Queens of the Stone Age’s “My God Is The Sun.”

Recording Academy president Neil Portnow explained why the quartet’s set length was amended.

“We save the end slot for something that is a bit of a jam, because you can have the energy go and then it’s just a matter of the clock,” he told The Hollywood Reporter, explaining that the show had already gone over by 10 minutes by the time Trent took the stage.
