‘True Blood’ Cast Records PSAs For Fans Going Through Show Withdrawal

The season premiere of Season 4 of HBO’s “True Blood” is still weeks away, but the cast has banded together to help addicts feeling the pain of withdrawal from the pulpy television show.

Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten, returning wolf Joe Manganiello, Sam Trammell, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Deborah Ann Woll, Nelsan Ellis and Rutina Wesley have recorded a series of PSAs, promoting HBO’s new website, TBWithdrawal.com (standing for “True Blood” withdrawal).

“If you’re howling on your front lawn at 2 in the morning,” Joe can be heard saying in one the clips, leading the cast in a series of character-worthy confessions about reasons to visit the website.

“Help has finally arrived,” Anna deadpans, as the website URL flashes on the screen.

“It’s a place where ‘True Blood’ addicts can come together to satisfy their ‘True Blood’ cravings,” Nelsan said of the site, which features, video, a live Twitter feed-style message board link and clips.

“You can talk about the upcoming season or support your favorite redhead at Merlotte’s, and I am not talking about Arlene,” Deborah Ann said in one of her portions, referring to her character, Jessica’s new job as a waitress at the Bon Temps diner.
