Turns out seven is very lucky for “True Blood.”
HBO announced on Monday it had renewed the supernatural drama for another run on the network.
“’True Blood’ remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers,” Michael Lombardo, president of HBO, said in a statement. “Thanks to Brian Buckner and his talented team, the show continues to be a thrill ride like nothing else on TV.”

Season 7 will premiere in summer 2014. Season 6 is currently airing on Sunday nights at 9 PM ET/PT on HBO.
