‘True Blood’ Season 5 Premiere Date Revealed

“True Blood” will return for Season 5 on June 10, HBO announced on Wednesday.

The 12-episode season will return at its regular time slot Sundays at 9 PM ET/PT.

Joining Anna Paquin (Sookie), Stephen Moyer (Bill) and Alexander Skarsgard (Eric) this season are a host of new castmembers, including “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” alum Christopher Meloni.

Carolyn Hennesy, from “General Hospital” and “Cougar Town” (she plays the real cougar on the show), is also a part of the cast.

“EVERYONE I’ve met on TB simply couldn’t be nicer,” Carolyn Tweeted last month. “Possibly the best set I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on.”

Adding, “Okay, folks have asked if S. Moyer & A. Skarsgard are as groovy in person. The answer is an unequivocal YES! And true pros.”

Over the weekend, ahead of the premiere of “Game of Thrones,” HBO unveiled the first trailer to tease “True Blood’s” Season 5. Click HERE to watch.
