‘True Blood’: Season 7 Premiere Date Revealed

The true death is near.

HBO has announced the premiere date for the final season of vampire drama “True Blood.”

The show’s seventh season kicks off on Sunday, June 22 at 9 PM ET/PT on HBO.

“True Blood” left Eric fans on a big cliffhanger in 2013 – as the character played by Alexander Skarsgard burst into flames in the sun, while on a snowy mountain peak. But, not long after that episode aired, it was confirmed the Swedish actor was returning for the final season.

In related premiere news, Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta’s “The Leftovers” begins its 10-episode season on Sunday, June 15 at 10 PM ET/PT, following the Season 4 finale of “Game of Thrones.”
