“True Blood” star Joe Manganiello is engaged!
The 33-year-old small screen heartthrob asked girlfriend Audra Marie to marry him while recently on vacation in Italy, a rep for the actor confirmed to Access Hollywood. People was first to report the couple’s engagement.
The couple reportedly met in 2009 at a Super Bowl party, before Joe was chasing vampires in his hit HBO show as werewolf Alcide Herveaux.
“She wouldn’t go out with me for six months,” Joe told the mag in September. “We started dating a few months before I got cast [on ‘True Blood’].”
Audra also gushed to the mag about the actor at the time, saying she loves his “sense of humor, his work ethic and how humble he is with everything that has gone on.”
The couple has reportedly not set a date yet for the wedding.
