Trump Reignites Rosie Rant

BURBANK, Calif. (January 3, 2007) — Apparently Donald Trump?s New Year?s resolution wasn?t to make peace with Rosie O?Donnell. Word has reached Access Hollywood that he?ll continue his 2006 Rosie-rant on CNN Headline News? ?Showbiz Tonight,? Wednesday evening.

This time though, Trump goes one step further, questioning the authenticity of statements issued by ?The View? host Barbara Walters who publicly defended her decision to hire O?Donnell after Trump accused her of not liking the brunette talk show moderator.

?Barbara knows what she said,? Donald tells host A.J. Hammer. ?What can she say? Is she going to get on and say that I can’t stand Rosie? She has to work with her.?

?Barbara knows what she said to me, and if I really tell you what she said, it just creates havoc,? he added.

Trump continued, as he did in December, to insist that Walters does not actually like her co-host.

?Barbara has no choice but to say what she’s going to say, because it’s very unfortunate. But let me tell you, Barbara is not a fan of Rosie,? he said.

Though the sixth series of Trump?s show ?The Apprentice? begins January 7th, Donald says one place he won?t be promoting it is on Barbara and Rosie?s show.

?Zero chance [that will happen],? he says.
