TV Tidbits: Seth MacFarlane Heads To Guys Choice Awards, FX’s The Bridge Gets Premiere Date

A host of new stars have been added to the lineup of this year’s “Guy’s Choice” awards, “Copper” adds a Baldwin to its Season 2 cast, Diane Kruger’s new series for FX gets a premiere date and more in this week’s edition of AccessHollywood.com’s TV Tidbits.

Spike TV’s “Guys Choice”: A host of guys’ faves have been added to the list of attendees at this year’s upcoming “Guys Choice” awards on Spike TV, including Seth McFarlane and Mark Wahlberg, caught up with last year at the 2012 edition. Also heading to the show are Vin Diesel, Jason Sudeikis, Jackie Chan, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue beauty Chrissy Tiegen and “Splash” star Katherine Webb. Previously, it was announced that Jimmy Kimmel, Vince Vaughn, Ben Affleck and “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke will all be honored at the show, airing on Wednesday, June 12 at 9 PM ET/PT on Spike TV.

“Copper”: Billy Baldwin is heading to 1860s New York City, guest starring in Season 2 of BBC America’s “Copper.” Playing William “Wild Bill” Eustace, Billy’s character has been described by the network as, “a tough and charming Tammany Hall fixer with a genius for political machination.” Actress Lindy Booth will also appear in the series as protected murder witness Teresa Trembley. “Copper” returns on June 23 at 10 PM ET/PT.

FX’s “The Bridge”: FX just announced the premiere date for its newest drama – “The Bridge,” starring big screen stars Diane Kruger and recent Oscar nominee Demian Bichir. Premiering Wednesday, July 10 at 10 PM, the drama kicks off when a judge, known for her anti-immigration views, is found dead. The incident forces Sonya Cross (Diane), from the El Paso Police Department, to work with Chihuahua State Police Officer Marco Ruiz (Demian).

“One Life To Live” & Snoop Lion: Snoop’s return visit to “OLTL’s” fictional town of Llanview hits the web this coming Tuesday, May 28. In the upcoming installment of the former ABC soap, now being produced by Prospect Park’s The Online Network, Snoop stops by the office of Bo Buchanan. Fans who haven’t kept up on the rapper’s name change can expect to learn a little more about how he went from Dogg to Lion, as he promotes his real-life film, “Reincarnated,” in the episode. He’ll also appear in episodes on May 30, June 4 and June 6 in storylines involving Matthew Buchannan and his pal, Jeffrey.
