‘Twilight’s’ Alex Meraz Says More Abs & Fewer Clothes In ‘Breaking Dawn’

“Twilight Saga” star Alex Meraz promises more skin and fewer articles of clothing in “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth and final installment of Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight Saga.”

“More abs! Sprayed on abs, more grease to make the abs look better!” Alex told Access Hollywood when asked what fans can expect from him in the upcoming vampire movie.

“Not a lot more clothing than usual, it’s the same,” he said of his character’s skimpy costumes.

In between shooting, Alex explained that he and his fellow werewolves have been able to keep tabs on each other’s physiques.

“We still kind of promote the films [together]… we’ve been progressively able to see the wolf pack and that’s what we always do, ‘Oh, your arms are getting a little bigger, your chest is getting bigger,’” he continued. “We totally always do that. It’s very macho, but fun.”

Alex told Access that he’d probably start shooting his portion of the next “Twilight” in February in Vancouver.

“Breaking Dawn,” directed by Bill Condon, will be released as two separate films with the first installment hitting theaters November 18, 2011, and the second part on November 16, 2012.
