Kellan Lutz, who bares his fangs as Emmett Cullen in “The Twilight Saga,” is now officially a deity.
“I’m a god,” the sexy vampire-turned-Calvin Klein underwear model told VMAN Magazine, referring to his latest role as the god Poseidon in next year’s “Immortals.”
“I like getting hurt,” Kellan told the mag, explaining that he had his eyes set on action roles. “I don’t have tattoos, so my bruises and scars are my tattoos.”
In addition to Kellan, VMAN awarded the title of Hollywood’s hottest men to four more young stars: Matthew Bomer, Noah Mills, Xavier Samuel and Ryan Kwanten.
Matthew Bomer, the cowboy criminal in USA’s crime drama “White Collar,” loves the challenge of taking on complicated roles.
“I like characters who aren’t perfect, that’s what’s fun for me to play as an actor: the imperfections, the shadows” he said.
With the upcoming role as Samantha’s boy toy in “Sex and The City 2,” Noah Mills is climbing to the top of Hollywood’s hottest actors. But the 25-year-old is wary of capitalizing on his looks.
“It’s a kind of dangerous way to live your life,” he told the mag about focusing on the nature of beauty. “Because at some point, it ends.”
Meanwhile, Xavier Samuel, the newest cast member of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” was catapulted to fame when he was cast as evil vampire Riley in the third installment of the franchise. Yet, the accomplished Australian actor said that his fame wasn’t exactly overnight.
“It’s often the case that breaking actors have been breaking out for years,” Xavier explained.
Fellow Aussie actor, Ryan Kwanten of HBO’s hit series “True Blood,” made waves in the role of Jason Stackhouse, but the sex-crazed, volatile character is entirely different to the actor’s real life persona.
“I’m a pretty down-to-earth, private kind of guy,” he said. “And this character is so impulsive, so lacking of any forethought or any kind of willpower. It’s great to be constantly required to throw all caution to the wind and play someone so wild.”
