Two-Time Dancing With The Stars Champ Cheryl Burke: ‘The Pressure Is Going To Be Huge’ On All-Stars

“Dancing with the Stars” professional Cheryl Burke may seem to hold an advantage over her fellow dancers (having won the realty competition twice) as she heads into the show’s new “All-Stars Edition.”

However, the 28-year-old beauty says her prior wins are placing the weight of the dancing world squarely on her shoulders.

“The pressure is going to be huge,” she told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Lisa Rinna on Wednesday’s Access Hollywood Live. “I mean, I still wake up and I [think], ‘OK, what can I do different?’ The costumes have to be different, the choreography has to be different — I mean, the level of [difficulty] from Season 2 until now has been extreme, absolutely.”

Three of Cheryl’s former “DWTS” partners will be returning for the upcoming showdown, including Season 2 winner Drew Lachey, Season 3 winner Emmitt Smith and Season 8 runner-up Gilles Marini, and she’s not sure if she’ll partnered with one of them or a fresh face.

“I have no idea — it’s gonna be heartbreaking, honestly, at the end of the day,” when asked who she hopes to be paired with. “I’m going to be one of those jealous women there… I’m going to be sneaking into rehearsals.”

As for how the new season will differ from the previous 14, Cheryl joked that producers will probably double their dance workload.

“They’re probably going to make our hours crazy. We’re already doing seven days a week — they’re probably going to be like, ‘Six dances! Let’s see who gets through it. Let’s mix it up!’” she said.

“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” premieres on September 24 at 8/7c on ABC.
