Cibrian filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

“He filed yesterday and I accepted it,” Glanville told E! News, which first reported the story, on Tuesday. “We’re getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday.”

The news of the couple’s split comes just days after Cibrian was spotted on a golf course in Valencia, Calif., with his Lifetime “Northern Lights” movie co-star, LeAnn Rimes, who he was accused of having an affair with earlier this year.

In his filing, Cibrian lists the date of separation as March 15, 2009. Back in March, he and Rimes both denied the affair rumors.

Cibrian and Rimes were also spotted on Saturday evening attending a Kings of Leon concert in Los Angeles.

Glanville and Cibrian have two children together – sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.

Cibrian, who is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the boys, has hired Neal Raymond Hersh to represent him in the proceedings. Hersh has also represented Kim Basinger in her split with Alec Baldwin and Brad Pitt when he split with Jennifer Aniston.

Glanville did not respond to a request for comment from Access Hollywood.
