Usher’s Stepson In Critical Condition After Jet Ski Accident (Report)

Usher’s 11-year-old stepson is in critical condition after an accident involving a jet ski, according to a local news report out of Atlanta.

Kyle Glover (who is the son of Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster) was riding in an inner tube with a teenage girl on Atlanta’s Lake Lanier when they were reportedly struck by a man riding a jet ski, according to Atlanta’s WXIA.

Glover was reportedly hit in the head and was unresponsive when emergency personnel arrived on the scene. He was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital, WXIA reported. As of Saturday, he was still listed in critical condition.

Glover’s female companion reportedly suffered a broken arm and a laceration on her head, and was also airlifted to the hospital, according to Atlanta’s WSB.

Despite Usher and Tameka’s contentious custody battle, the couple has apparently put their differences aside in their difficult time.

According to TMZ, upon hearing the news, Usher chartered a plane for Tameka (who was out of town at the time of the accident) so she could race to be by her son’s side.

Usher and Tameka wed in August 2007. Their divorce was finalized in November 2009. The couple has two children together — Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, over whom they have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle since their split.

A rep for Usher was not immediately available for comment on Glover’s condition when contacted by Access Hollywood on Sunday.
