Vanessa Redgrave Postpones Her Appearance At New York’s St. John The Divine

Vanessa Redgrave has postponed her April 27 appearance at New York’s Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine where she was to have performed the stage version of “The Year of Magical Thinking.”

In 2007, Redgrave starred on Broadway in Joan Didion’s meditation on the deaths of her husband and daughter, and she later performed the one-woman show in London. Redgrave’s eldest daughter, Natasha Richardson, died last week from injuries received in a skiing accident in Canada.

Cathedral spokesman Jonathan Korzen says the performance would be rescheduled for a later date.
