Warrant frontman Jani Lane has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of DUI.
According to TMZ, the “Cherry Pie” singer was arrested in Woodland Hills, Calif., on Sunday night.
According to a police source, the 80’s hairband rocker allegedly hit a parked car in his Infiniti sedan. When police arrived on the scene, they gave Lane a field sobriety test, which he reportedly did not pass. At the station, he reportedly blew more than twice the legal limit of .08 during a breathalyzer.
The rocker was released from custody at 3:17 AM.
Though his car was severely damaged, there were no reported injuries in Sunday’s incident.
This is not Lane’s first run-in with authorities. In July 2009, he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI and was placed on probation for three years.
According to TMZ, the officer who arrested the rocker on Sunday was the same officer who arrested him in 2009.
