Reese Witherspoon is singing to the tune of a new decade!
The Oscar-winning actress celebrated her 40th birthday on Saturday night with a star-studded, Mardi Gras-themed soiree at J.T. Torregiani and Sylvain Bitton's hot spot Warwick in Los Angeles, and commemorated the milestone with a special rendition of "Sweet Home Alabama" alongside Keith Urban.
Vanity Fair writer Derek Blasberg shared a snippet of the performance on his Instagram page, in which Reese can be seen belting the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic while Keit plays guitar.
"You can take the girl out the South, but you can't take Sweet Home Alabama out the girl!" he captioned. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY @reesewitherspoon."
Other celebs on hand for Reese's big night included Jennifer Aniston, Matthew McConaughey, Chelsea Handler and Chris Martin. Also present was Kate Hudson, who documented the festivities on social media with an Instagram collage and series of Snapchats.
"When you take a s*** load of pictures and you still don’t have it perfect so you go for the ole collage post … Happy Birthday gorgeous girl @reesewitherspoon!!! Love you," Kate wrote, captioning a photo quartet of her and Reese smiling with other partygoers.
“#TequillaFirst #PostingLater #SaturdayNight #ImSoExcitedToGetIntoBedIDontEvenKnowWhatToDoWithMyself #NotWashingMyFace #GoodNight,” she added.
Taylor Swift also posed for a snap with Reese's "Wild" co-star Laura Dern and author Cheryl Strayed, and presented the birthday girl with a private concert.
Kate shared a Snapchat video of Taylor singing her hit "Shake It Off" to the A-list crowd
"This beauty gave a little surprise for our bday," she captioned one clip, adding, "Happy birthday Reese, we love you!"
Reese seemed ready to kick things off in style, posting an early peek at the evening with an adorable Instagram clip of herself riding to the venue with her mother, Betty.
"Are you going to get crazy on the dance floor, Mom?" Reese asks in the vid.
"Crazy!" Betty replies.
Reese’s party may be over, but her birthday still has a couple of days to go — she officially rings in the big 4-0 on March 22.
