Whitney Houston 911 Call Released; ‘Apparently She Wasn’t Breathing,’ Caller Says

The 911 call made the day Whitney Houston died has been released.

In the call, made from security at the Beverly Hilton hotel, the caller tells the 911 operator, “I’ve got a 46-year-old female found in the bathroom.”

“I’m not sure if she fell or if she was in the bathroom with the water,” the caller added, noting the woman – who would later be identified as Whitney Houston – was in Room 434.

When asked if the woman was “conscious or breathing at all,” the caller explains that “apparently she wasn’t breathing.”

The caller, who does not further identify himself during the call, told the 911 dispatcher he initially received a call from an “irate” woman at the hotel.

However, the security employee said he could not get more information from the “irate” caller because “she kept hanging up on us.”

On Wednesday, Beverly Hills police ruled the investigation into Houston’s death was officially closed and no signs of foul play were found.

Houston died on February 11 at the age of 48, after being found in the bathtub inside her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton.

The full autopsy report later revealed she died of accidental drowning.

In addition, the report noted that heart disease and cocaine use also were factors in the singer’s death.
