Singing superstar Whitney Houston made a surprise appearance in the UK on
Thursday night.
Whitney turned up to the Swarovski Fashion Rocks event at London’s Royal
Albert Hall reportedly shocking the audience and even veteran supermodels.
“Everyone in the audience was amazed – even the big stars like Kate Moss and
Naomi Campbell started whooping with delight,” a source told Britain’s Daily
Mirror. “It was all that anyone could talk about the rest of the night. It was
just such a well-kept secret, no one had any inkling that she might be
there.”
Though Whitney didn’t sing, the svelte star did introduce the final catwalk
show, which included a performance by Patti LaBelle who was joined by UK girl
group Sugababes on “Lady Marmalade.”
The Mirror reports Whitney flew in secretly from New York and reportedly hid
in a London hotel in order to keep the surprise.
