Sandra Bullock could have two golden acting statues on her mantle following the 2010 awards season – one a huge honor… the other one, something she might like to forget.
Come Oscar night, Sandra – who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for “The Blind Side” on Tuesday morning – will also know if she’s won a Razzie for worst actress in “All About Steve.”
At the Razzie Awards, she’ll be competing against Beyonce, in “Obsessed,” Miley Cyrus, in “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” Megan Fox, in “Jennifer’s Body” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and Sarah Jessica Parker, in “Did You Hear About the Morgans?”
Lucky for Sandra, her Oscar and Razzie nods did not come from the same movie. That honor goes to actor James Coco, who was nominated for both an Oscar and a Razzie for his role in 1981’s “Only When I Laugh” and Amy Irving for 1983’s “Yentl.”
If Sandra wins both the Razzie and the Oscar, she’ll be the first star ever to do so. Others have accomplished this feat in non-acting categories.
