Fergie’s not leaving the Black Eyed Peas, despite online rumors – according to group leader Will.i.am.
“Don’t believe gossip about fergie leaving the group,” the rapper-producer Tweeted. “(We are never breaking up) its all lies!!!”
On Friday, Radar Online reported that Fergie was “on the verge” of leaving the hip-hop quartet, which is hitting the road this summer in support of last year’s album, “The E.N.D.”
“Fergie is saying she wants out of the band and the second half of the tour isn’t confirmed for early next year,” a source told the site, adding, “Things have gotten really bad with Will.i.am.”
The site also claimed Fergie wants to take time off to have a baby with husband Josh Duhamel.
Last summer, Fergie told Marie Claire magazine that she and Josh want children – “just not during this tour.”
