William Shatner Reveals How Far He’s Boldly Gone With Betty White

William Shatner may have praised Betty White’s “flexible” hips in a recent interview with Playboy, but that doesn’t mean he and the TV legend are about to enter the film genre Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton started out in.

At Thursday night’s CBS Fall Season Premiere event in Los Angeles, AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman asked the “$#*! My Dad Says” star whether his Playboy remark that Betty “has moves you wouldn’t believe” meant that there could be a sex tape in the vaults.

“Would that be a funny — a sex tape between Betty White and myself! Appealing to seven people – in AARP,” William laughed uproariously at the suggestion.

With his wife Liz by his side, William suggested there was never any romance between himself and his fellow senior citizen.

“Betty and I look at each other and fall backwards the other way. We don’t fall forwards towards each other,” he smiled.

When Laura pointed out what a hot commodity Betty is in Hollywood, William said the “Hot In Cleveland” star is a beauty too.

“I know — she’s hottttt,” he continued, in his best mock-Paris Hilton voice. “But she is wonderful. I love Betty White.”

William, whose new Thursday night comedy is based around a Twitter account that consists of random quotes from a San Diego man’s father, said he is not afraid to go head-to-head with another raspy-voiced actor, Alec Baldwin.

Though the two gentleman will battle for ratings when “$#*! My Dad Says” airs opposite NBC’s hit comedy “30 Rock” on Thursday evenings, William had nothing but praise for his esteemed competition.

“Oh that’s right— we’re on at the same time!” he said. “Well he’s a wonderful actor, and has won so many awards, and I hope I do as well.”

Catch William in “$#*! My Dad Says” when the show premieres on September 23 at 8:30 PM on CBS.
