Willow Smith Set To Make Her Television Debut

Willow Smith, daughter of Hollywood A-listers Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, is heading to the small screen for her television debut.

Willow will guest star on a one-hour episode of Nickelodeon’s live-action comedy series, “True Jackson, VP.”

Willow will play a young version of the show’s star, True, who is played by Keke Palmer.

Willow Smith is fantastic playing the young True and was able to channel Keke’s energy yet put her own signature on it,” Nickelodeon’s Executive Vice President of Development and Original programming, Majorie Cohn, said in a statement.

The hit comedy series centers on a high school student who lives a dual life as the vice president of a major fashion company.

“I get my styles ideas from ‘True Jackson, VP,’” Willow said in a statement. “If I had my own fashion company, I would call it ‘Willow’s Reign.’”

Although this will mark Willow’s first appearance on television, this is not her first Hollywood experience.

Willow has appeared in various other films including playing Countee Garby in “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl,” and alongside her father, Will, playing his on-screen daughter in the thriller, “I Am Legend.”

The episode featuring Willow will air on Saturday, July 25 at 8 PM on Nickelodeon.
