Zach Galifianakis Didn’t Meet His ‘Puss In Boots’ Co-Stars Until Film’s Junket

Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek and Zach Galifianakis united for the animated feature, “Puss In Boots,” but the funnyman said he only met his co-stars – for the first time – at the film’s junket over the weekend.

“That’s right,” Zach told Access Hollywood at the film’s premiere over the weekend. “I never met them while we were filming this movie. I met them for the first time yesterday. Good handshakes, they all have good handshakes. It’s a really beautiful cast.”

Zach voices Humpty Dumpty in the film and he said making the movie, which is set for release this Friday, is something he can’t wait to do again.

“Every time I left the recording sessions, I was in the best mood,” Zach said. “It really was one of those things that was like playing around. If you can do that in a job, it’s just a great feeling to have.

“I’d like to do it again,” he continued. “I like that there weren’t any other actors around, in a weird way. At first I was a little intimidated by it, but then, you kind of look around, and there’s just you, a microphone, and a director. There’s no egomaniacs to deal with. It’s a nice change, I’ll tell you that.”
