One down for 1D – Zayn Malik has exited One Direction’s world tour due to stress.
“Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate,” a rep for the boy band said in a statement to Access.
“The band wishes him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta,” the statement continued.

The 22-year-old’s exit comes after he slammed rumors of a split with Little Mix fiancee Perrie Edwards.
“I’m 22 years old… I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous f***s in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like,” he Tweeted.

After the Asian leg of their tour, 1D is slated to play Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa.
