“New Girl” is about to get a new girl (or boy)!
Zooey Deschanel, who stars in the Fox comedy, is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Jacob Pechenik, her rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.
“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one,” the 34-year-old actress told People of her exciting baby news.
Jacob, 42, a producer, and Zooey began dating in mid-2014.
The mom-to-be was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard from 2009-2012.
In related Deschanel family news, Zooey’s older sister, “Bones” star Emily Deschanel, is also currently pregnant. The actress is expecting her second child with husband David Hornsby.
