Emma Roberts Accused Of Making Transphobic Remarks By ‘American Horror Story’ Co-Star Angelica Ross

Angelica Ross is speaking out about facing alleged transphobia from former co-star Emma Roberts. In an Instagram Live video, the “American Horror Story” actress claimed that Roberts intentionally misgendered her on the set of the television series’ ninth season. Ross, who is trans, alleged that Roberts told someone on set named John that she was “being mean,” and that John tried to get them back to work. “John is like, ‘OK ladies, that’s enough, let’s you know, like, get back to work.’ And she then looks at me and she goes, ‘Don’t you mean lady?’ And she turns around like this and covers her mouth,” Ross claimed. Roberts has not publicly spoken on Ross’ claims, and Access Hollywood has reached out to reps for the “About Fate” star for comment. However, Ross later posted on X that her former co-star had made amends, writing in part, ” Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologizing, recognizing your behavior was not that of an ally.”
