Adele Breaks Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ Video Record; Brit To Perform 1-Hour Special

“Hello”? It’s
Adele, breaking Taylor Swift’s record.

The British singer’s video
for her newest single has beaten out Tay’s record-breaking “Bad
Blood” video for most Vevo views in the first 24 hours.

“Bad Blood” gained
20.1 million views in its first 24 hours, while Adele’s “Hello”
(featuring “90210” alum Tristan Wilds) earned 27.7 million views on
day one. As of Tuesday morning, the video has amassed 89.9 million views since
its Friday release.

In related Adele news, the
Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe winner will perform in an hour-long special,
“Adele at the BBC,” to air on BBC One, the network announced on
Tuesday.

She’ll perform songs from
her new album, “25,” and also sit down with Graham Norton for an interview
(brb, setting our DVR now).

“The BBC has been
wonderful to me over the years and Graham and I get on great so it’s going to
be a laugh,” Adele said in a statement.

Added Graham, “This
is the music event of the year and I’m thrilled to be part of bringing it to
BBC One. This opportunity to spend an hour with Adele, her music and her stories
is a truly rare treat. If I wasn’t hosting this special I’d be sat at home
watching it!”

Additionally, Adele will
serve as musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” on Nov. 21, with host
Matthew McConaughey.

“25” drops on
Nov. 20.
