Amanda Bynes is back! The actress was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday night looking healthy and happy.
The former fashion student attended the launch party for designer Michael Costello’s pre-fall capsule collection, sporting long, platinum locks and wearing a white lace minidress, black stillettos and geometric black sunnies.
The event marks a rare public appearance for Amanda since her series of well-documented personal and legal troubles began in 2012. Her last official red carpet was at the MTV Movie Awards in June 2011, where she was supporting her comedy “Easy A.”

She was snapped at Thursday’s fete smiling and waving to photographers.
Amanda’s attorney, David Esquibias, told Access Hollywood in February that the Nickelodeon star was “doing well” under the conservatorship of her mother, Lynn Bynes.

“I am glad the arrangement is continuing.” Esquibias said at the time. “The legal process is working in Amanda’s favor.”
The 29-year-old Tweeted in November that she’d been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was keeping weekly appointments with a psychologist and psychiatrist, but has kept mum on social media of late.
Most recently, Amanda shared a drawing with her 3.6 million Twitter followers in March.
