Short hair, do care! Amanda Seyfried’s new look is for a great cause.
The actress traded her long, beachy waves for a chic, shoulder-length lob on Wednesday, and showed off the cut while walking her dog, Finn, on the streets of New York City.
The “Ted 2” star donated her trademark tresses to Locks of Love, a non-profit charity that makes wigs and hairpieces for children battling cancer. Amanda hinted at her plans with a cute Instagram pic of Finn modeling her shorn mane.

“Finn is wearing my #locksforlove,” the 29-year-old captioned.
Amanda’s pup wasn’t the only one who helped. She also gave her trusted stylist a shout-out, posting a selfie with salon pro Clede Tomoko and tagging Cle de Peau Beaute in the shot. The starlet has been a spokesmodel for the beauty brand since 2014.
