Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” has begun production and
the first look at Benedict Cumberbatch has arrived!

scruffy looking Benedict was spotted filming as Marvel’s mystic character
Stephen Strange in Kathmandu, Nepal on Thursday.

The plot of the upcoming film is being kept under wraps, but
many have wondered if this location is where Benedict’s character encounters
The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) who teaches him the ways of the magical arts.
The movie will mark the first entry into the comic book
world’s magic realm and help launch Marvel Studio’s Phase 3, which kicks off
with “Captain America: Civil War” in May 2016.

“Doctor Strange,” directed by Scott Derrickson and
also starring Rachael McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Mordo), Mads
Mikkelsen and Michael Stuhlbarg (Nicodemus West), opens November 4, 2016.
