Bristol Palin Basking In Her ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Success

Bristol Palin’s future on “Dancing with the Stars” was uncertain going into Tuesday’s semi-final results show, but after the surprise elimination of Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the 20-year-old single mom is enjoying her “moment.”

“There is a difference between wanting it really, really bad and then enjoying every moment. I think you just gotta go with it, go with it week to week. Who cares if you make it at the end or if you don’t? You’re enjoying now, you know, because you never know, we could all be dead tomorrow, we could be hit by a bus tomorrow and you’ve got to enjoy this second, right now, as it’s happening,” Bristol told Access following Tuesday’s show.

AH Nation Poll: Was it fair Bristol stayed and Brandy went home?

The daughter of former Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin credits much of her success to her loyal fans.

“I wouldn’t be here [without my supporters,]” she continued. “I think people out there see my improvement each week and seeing themselves in me and I’m thrilled with that.”

Bristol “The Pistol” also had a message to the “DWTS” viewers who are not happy to see her stick around.

“You’re fueling my fire!” she said.

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 11 returns next week on ABC with the final round on Monday at 8 PM ET/PT.
