Carrie Ann Inaba Wants Lindsay Lohan For ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ Not Mom Dina

“Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba wants Lindsay Lohan to compete in the ballroom, but she’s not so hot on the actress’ mom, Dina Lohan, going after the mirrorball trophy.

“I’ve been the biggest proponent for Lindsay Lohan being on our show,” on Wednesday. “Since all her troubles started, I think people have asked.”

Earlier this week, Dina told Radar Online that Lindsay was approached to compete on the ABC series, but turned it down.

Carrie Ann feels the “Dancing” regime would do wonders for the actress, who is currently seeking treatment for addiction at the Betty Ford Center.

“She would do so well on our show because she’s a beautiful girl, she’s very talented. If you look back at her body of work a long time ago, she just had this great energy,” Carrie Ann continued. “Doing something like ‘Dancing with the Stars’ would be a great come back for her. Look at what it does for people’s careers, not to mention the grueling schedule. It teaches you discipline and it teaches you confidence. It teaches you a lot of wonderful things.”

Adding, “I would love to have her on the show, when she’s ready only.”

As for Dina possibly competing, Carrie Ann would only like to see her on “Dancing” if Lindsay was involved.

“It would be interesting if they were both on at the same time, because we never had a mother [and] daughter compete,” she told Access. “But, I don’t know if I want to see Dina alone, separate from Lindsay. I’d like to see Lindsay.”
