Leonardo DiCaprio will re-team with director Ridley Scott in the new thriller “The Low Dweller,” per The Hollywood Reporter.
Set in Indiana in the mid ‘80s, “Dweller” follows a man (DiCaprio) trying to adjust to society after being released from jail, only to find someone from his past looking to settle a score.
DiCaprio will also co-produce the drama with Scott, who is also in line to direct.
The duo recently wrapped production on “Body Of Lies,” a drama directed by Scott, which stars DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.
“The Low Dweller” was written by first-time scribe Brad Ingelsby, a twenty-something insurance salesman from Pennsylvania, who wrote “Dweller” in his spare time.
DiCaprio will next be seen on the big screen alongside Kate Winslet in the drama “Revolutionary Road.”
Catherine Zeta-Jones has signed on to star in an as-of-yet untitled comedy, Variety reports.
The film, set in New York City, centers on a 25-year-old bachelor and his new neighbor – an older single mom who catches his eye, and then some.
Catherine, who was last seen in the romantic comedy “No Reservations” opposite Aaron Eckhart, recently wrapped production on the drama “Death Defying Acts,” which co-stars Guy Pearce and Saoirse Ronan.
Paul Giamatti will join Julia Roberts, Clive Owen and Tom Wilkinson in “Duplicity,” per Variety.
Giamatti and Wilkinson will play rival industrial corporate titans, while Roberts and Owens play spies-turned-corporate operatives who work on opposite sides, but engage in a secret love affair.
Billy Bob Thornton had been in talks for Giamatti’s role.
Jared Padalecki is in final talks to star in the remake of the horror classic “Friday the 13th,” per The Hollywood Reporter.
The remake will once again focus on the maniacal hockey mask-wearing killer Jason Voorhees. In the lead role, Padalecki will be investigating the incidents at Crystal Lake.
Padalecki, who stars on The CW hit “Supernatural,” will next hit the big screen in “Home for the Holidays,” alongside Peter O’Toole and Marcia Gay Harden.
