Charlie Sheen On Lindsay Lohan’s Rehab: ‘I Believe In Detox, Not Rehab’

Charlie Sheen, who has never been shy about sharing his thoughts on handling addiction, has chimed in on Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming court-ordered 90-day rehab stint.

“I don’t know. I believe in detox, not rehab,” the actor told Access Hollywood when asked about his “Scary Movie 5” co-star’s planned rehab stay at the movie’s Los Angeles premiere on Thursday.

The actor told Access that Lindsay has her sights set on turning her life around.

“She doesn’t need any help,” he said of his co-star. “She’s got a pretty good plan. She just needs to execute it.”

Adding, “I’m not the guy to ask for, you know, ‘How am I going to fix Lindsay?’ I barely know the girl.”

Charlie explained that his role in helping Lindsay during her recent rough patch comes from a good place.

“I don’t give stuff unsolicited. I don’t get in people’s grills… if someone asks and I got the data, I’ll share it. If I don’t, I know somebody that does,” he told Access.

Adding, “We were just thrown together and I figure rather than being a douche and ignore it… that there might be something I could offer to comfort or enlighten or whatever. But nobody has any answers, really.”
