MrrrrrRRRROOOOWWwwwwww! Chelsea Handler is keeping her claws at full extension when it comes to Angelina Jolie.
The “Chelsea Lately” host continued her tirade against “The Tourist” star in a new interview with CBS Evening News anchor, Katie Couric.
“I’m not a fan,” Chelsea told Katie of Brad Pitt’s longtime partner, in a new interview for Glamour. “She just doesn’t come off to me as a sincere woman. She seems like a woman that you’d really want to avoid.”
Though she may be loose-lipped when it comes to “Saint Angelina,” the often harsh-tongued comedienne revealed to Katie that she does consider a couple of topics to be off-limits.
“I think talking about children and their looks is not nice,” Chelsea told Katie. “Like, unattractive children. I don’t do that. And I don’t talk about people who are dying. I think that’s inappropriate.”
Chelsea, who got her comedic start at a young age when her older brother would take her to parties, learned at an early age that she could get attention by “insulting people.”
“When you’re the youngest of six kids, you want the attention,” she told Katie. “And then my brother died, and my whole family was just so enveloped in that, I was kind of left in the dust.
“Those years, from nine to about 16 or 17, were pretty difficult because I was really struggling to be heard,” she added. “I definitely had some anger issues, and I was very rebellious and had very little respect for anything or anybody.”
Though Chelsea is known for her jokes about drinking and promiscuity, she doesn’t appreciate being referred to as “raunchy.”
“I’m irreverent and I say things that a lot of people wouldn’t say, and some of it probably isn’t in the best taste,” she explained. “But when I hear the word raunchy, to me that describes [porn star] Jenna Jameson.”
Whether “raunchy” or not, whatever Chelsea is doing seems to be working.
In addition to hosting “Chelsea Lately,” the funnywoman recently hosted the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, has written __ best-selling books, and has a new show in the works with E! that will showcase the behind-the-scenes happenings on her late night talk show – and she doesn’t plan on stopping there.
“I definitely want to move on and do something bigger, expand my horizons,” she told Katie. “Talking about celebrity every day can just fry your brain. I want to be able to talk about politics, I want to be able to talk about sports, I want to be able to talk about life paths, not just celebrity driven.
“When my contract’s up at E!, I’m going to figure out all the options and see if anybody still wants to give me a job,” she added.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the good pal of Jennifer Aniston laid into Angelina Jolie last week during her stand-up show in Newark, New Jersey.
“She’s a homewrecker, she is,” Chelsea said of Angelina (who is the longtime partner of Brad Pitt, who was previously married to Jennifer).
“She can rescue as many babies from as many countries as she wants to… I don’t f***ing believe you,” Chelsea said in a video of the comedy routine posted on YouTube. “She gives interviews, ‘I don’t have a lot of female friends.’ Because you’re a f***ing c***, that’s why.”
Additionally, in August Chelsea called the actress “evil” just moments before she welcomed friend Jennifer Aniston on to her E! late night talk show.
